Each site gets a different username/password that is never written down because what if it’s stolen? Which means it’s never remembered when it’s time to log on, and the whole rigamarole of setting a new password which also won’t be remembered begins. It’s a vicious cycle of 8-10 letters containing one capital letter, two numbers and a random symbol that in some cases can’t match the last 100 passwords used.

Ugh.

I’ve actually never considered how much I rely on Wiki for basic information. Back in the old days when info wasn’t immediately available at our fingertips, I remember having to visit the library to pour over the World Book Encyclopedia. Times were tough.

I didn’t plan on waking up on New Year’s Day to hear my neighbors fighting and screaming at each other. But since this is becoming a regular occurrence, I thought it was only fair to warn my landlord that if I start to hear anything physical I’d call the cops.

So I guess my list of resolutions for this year will include stopping domestic violence.
